About Hostack
Built by an operator, for operators.
Hostack is the operations OS for independent hostels and colivings — the system that runs the day so the manager doesn't have to be the one holding it all together. It started as the tool its founder needed while running a property, and is now being co-built with a handful of operators before it opens to the world.
Why we exist
Independent hospitality runs on memory, goodwill, and group chats. That works until it doesn't — until the manager becomes the bottleneck and every gap lands in one person's phone. Hostack turns that into a system. Not to replace the human element — but to protect it. The AI handles what's repetitive, predictable, and answerable. The people in the property handle what only people can: the welcome, the connection, the reason guests come back.
Built by an operator, for operators
“5 years managing hostels and colivings across Europe. Currently at Torridonia in the Scottish Highlands. Hostack was built because it was the tool I needed — and no one had built it yet. The goal was never to automate hospitality. It was to make the operational noise invisible — so the people inside the property could focus on what makes independent travel worth choosing in the first place.”
